How can I share links that launch specific videos, channels, and playlists in the Gear VR app?

We want to make it as easy as possible to share a specific video, channel, or playlist with someone that they can then launch directly in our Gear VR app, without having to re-find the video, channel, or playlist on their own.  Here's how to do this...

Videos

If the person you're sharing a video with has the mobile app installed, tapping the URLs "http://www.vrideo.com/watch/video_id" or "http://www.vrideo.com/watch/video_id?playlist=playlist_id" should launch or give them the option to launch the video directly in the app.  (If this fails to happen, they should check their default handler for Vrideo URLs.  For example, if this person also has our mobile app installed, they may have previously selected our mobile app as the default handler for Vrideo URLs.)

Alternatively, to share a direct link to a video, use the format "vrideovr://watch/video_id", where "video_id" is the alphanumeric characters at the end of the video's URL, i.e. "http://www.vrideo.com/watch/video_id".   To share a direct link to a video in playlist view, use the format "vrideovr://watch/video_id?playlist=playlist_id", where "video_id" and "playlist_id" are the alphanumeric characters in the URL of a video in playlist view, i.e. "http://www.vrideo.com/watch/video_id?playlist=playlist_id".

Channels

If the person you're sharing a channel with has the mobile app installed, tapping the URLs "http://www.vrideo.com/channel_id" or "http://www.vrideo.com/custom_url" should launch or give them the option to launch the channel directly in the app.  (If this fails to happen, they should check their default handler for Vrideo URLs.  For example, if this person also has our mobile app installed, they may have previously selected our mobile app as the default handler for Vrideo URLs.)

Alternatively, to share a direct link to a channel, use the format "vrideovr://channel/channel_id" or "vrideovr://channel/custom_url", where "channel_id" or "custom_url" is the alphanumeric characters at the end of the channel's URL, i.e. "http://www.vrideo.com/channel_id" or "http://www.vrideo.com/custom_url".

Note that specifying a specific tab in the channel screen requires appending "/videos-uploaded", "/videos-liked", "/playlists-created", "/playlists-bookmarked", etc..  For example, to direct someone to a playlists created channel room, you can use the URL “http://www.vrideo.com/channel_id/playlists-created” or “http://www.vrideo.com/custom_url/playlists-created”, or the format “vrideovr://channel/channel_id/playlists-created” or “vrideovr://channel/custom_url/playlists-created”.

Playlists

If the person you're sharing a playlist with has the mobile app installed, tapping the URL "http://www.vrideo.com/playlist/playlist_id" should launch or give them the option to launch the playlist directly in the app.  (If this fails to happen, they should check their default handler for Vrideo URLs.  For example, if this person also has our mobile app installed, they may have previously selected our mobile app as the default handler for Vrideo URLs.)

Alternatively, to share a direct link to a playlist, use the format "vrideovr://playlist/playlist_id", where "playlist_id" is the alphanumeric characters at the end of the playlist's URL, i.e. "http://www.vrideo.com/playlist/playlist_id".
